Suji Halwa
Ingredients :
- Suji - 1 cup
- Milk - 1/2 Ltr.
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Elaichi Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Dry Fruits - Kismis, Almonds, Cashew, Pista
- Khoya / Milkmaid (Optional)
Preparation Method :
- Heat Ghee in a Pan. Add Suji and cook it in mediam flame until it turns golden brown.
- In another pan, boil milk then add Elaichi powder and sugar until it is completely boiled.
- Add Milkmade / khoya as per your taste in the milk boiled above (again this is optional).
- Make the flame low down. Add suji slowly(from step 1) in boiled milk(in step 2). Please note to stirr it firmly while adding suji. Stirr the mixture until it seems to turn thick.
- Chop dry fruits. Add all the chopped dry fruits and continue stirring so as to mix dry fruits in your recipe.
- Remove the recipe from stove and let it cool down a bit.
- Garnish it with some more dryfruits on the top or as per your taste and serve fresh
- Here you go with your Suji Halwa ! Enjoy !
